Abstract:
Eye lifting and firming, anti-aging,wrinkle removal eyes, are popular applications for plasma. The eye area is a sensitive area, and many skin clinics, beauty centers, and wellness centers are cautious about attempting this procedure. IVIVA Bauty Center used our latest equipment to perform eye wrinkle removal on a regular VIP client. The entire procedure was a complete success. After six months of follow-up and feedback, the client was amazing by the results. We would like to share the detailed process of this procedure, hoping that everyone can learn from and discuss it.
Introduction:
With ever-increasing technological advancements, plasma technology has undergone significant changes by 2025, making plasma treatments safer, more comfortable, and more effective. Compared to 3-5 years ago, fibroblast plasma technology has been expanded to include cold plasma technology! This article focuses on the detailed operation of plasma devices for eye treatment.
Content:
Selina, who is turning 50 this year, came to our IVIVA Clinic at noon and had a very comprehensive meeting with our director, Dr. Chen. This was her first plasma treatment, and she was a little nervous and concerned. She asked many questions that everyone was concerned about, and Dr. Chen patiently and attentively answered them all. Our colleague, Miss Han, has already prepared the plasma treatment equipment, including a plasma pen, anesthetic, disposable sterile gloves, and face cloths and so on. For patients who are less sensitive to pain, anesthetics are optional. We will use an IVIVA cold air device, which delivers airflow at a maximum temperature of -20 degrees Celsius to the skin, significantly reducing burning and pain. Selina opted for an anesthetic application.
Starting at 1:00 PM, Selina’s skin was cleansed and anesthetic applied. The treatment points were marked on both the upper and lower eyelids to ensure optimal results.
Approximately 45 minutes after applying the topical anesthetic cream, Dr. Chen’s handheld treatment device will smoothly and quickly move over the pre-marked areas, hovering over your skin. The small pulses of energy create microscopic wounds, leaving behind small, dot-like scabs (also known as “carbon scabs”). Our entire upper and lower eyelid treatment lasts 15 minutes! We concluded our eye treatment at 2:00 PM.
Operation Direction: We followed the instructions shared on the Plama Pen Facebook page to determine the direction of operation, the distance between the hovering points, and the restricted area. The operation was very smooth and fluid, and I felt comfortable and at ease, without any discomfort

3.Is it painful?
Without anesthetic, there will be a burning sensation at the treatment site, but this is generally tolerable. Beauty comes at a heavy price.

The epidermis will recover within a month, collagen will form in the second month, and noticeable changes will be seen after 8 weeks. Optimal results are achieved 10-12 weeks after treatment. Be patient.
5.How long is the recovery period?
In the first week,
For 1-3 days, the skin will experience redness, swelling, and a burning sensation, similar to a mild sunburn.
For 2-5 days, a small, slightly scabbed area will appear at the treated area. A scab will gradually form, and some itching is normal.
After 5-10 days, the scab will fall off naturally. Do not pick at it, as this may leave scars.
In the mid-term recovery,
After the scab falls off, the new skin will appear pink or red and may feel a little tender and tight.
This redness will gradually fade, and the skin will become smoother.
Long-term recovery (10-15 weeks):
The skin will continue to recover and regenerate, with collagen regenerated, achieving optimal lifting and firming effects.
6.How many treatments are needed?
Depending on your skin condition and desired results, we recommend consulting your doctor two months later, once the full effect has appeared, to determine if another treatment is needed.

Follow normal wound care principles and you should be able to manage well. Regarding the Plasma Pen, we recommend Silver Colloidal Gel, which helps cool the skin. Repair serum is optional, but it can also help the skin recover. Skin has a strong ability to repair itself. Avoid any liquids, makeup, and maintain moisture. Avoid sunlight and contact with the skin.
11.What is the difference between plasma and microneedling?
Plasma generally refers to thermal plasma. Plasma energy promotes fibroblast formation and new collagen production.Microneedling is divided into microneedle RF. Physical micro-needle punctures stimulate the skin’s self-healing ability, while RF heat promotes collagen formation. Cold plasma has powerful antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effects and is commonly used to treat active acne. Microneedling is used to improve acne scars, enlarged pores, or to deeply deliver active ingredients. Cold plasma does not require a downtime, while both thermal plasma and microneedles do. Plasma is superior to microneedles and cold plasma.
12.Differences between Plasma and Morphes 8:
Morphes 8 uses a unique microneedle RF technology. It is relatively new and can penetrate deeper than traditional RF. According to Innmode, the deepest cartridge can reach 8mm below the skin’s surface. This can have a significant plastic effect, promoting the shrinkage and remodeling of fat cells.
